Another entry from the journal...
The next day I awake to find Dorian and Skass standing next to the horses who are lying down. Horses don’t lie down, even when they sleep. I check the horses for a pulse, yes they are dead, I and Dorian suspect the drow has killed them. Over that gawd damned cube. It appears while Skass was on watch last night, Ana got high and rolled around in the mud like the retarded junkie, we know and love, well we know her at least. Skass saw fun colors in the trees and thinks that they are fireflies. They made a fire even though the thorn said they shouldn’t have. While walking through the woods Skass and Ana mysteriously fall asleep at this point we are surrounded by a goblin encampment. Since we are in muck mud and a swamp, they almost drown. Skass gets revived and healed, and begins to carry Ana he notices that all of his items are missing, by walking on top of the water. We eventually find a higher land patch and rest.
