Krusk, the One-Eyed Warrior Empty
PostSubject: Krusk, the One-Eyed Warrior   Krusk, the One-Eyed Warrior EmptyTue Nov 17, 2009 12:55 am

His mother a human slave to the orc clan, Gellketh, she gave birth to a half breed male. His father took him in and disbanded the mother, naming his new son Krusk. The boy was always looked upon favorably by his father and began his training as soon as he was of age. He showed immense commitment to the clan’s cause and complete devotion to their master, Gruumsh. He was never treated unfairly because of his mixed blood, so long as he continually proved himself to his peers and his father.

Krusk excelled in his training and quickly became proficient with the orcs morst prized weapon, the double axe. When called upon, he would destroy everything that stood in his way with a rage that only a true follower could show. When the shamans felt that he was ready, he began the final ceremony. The fierce ritual that all who showed the intense commitment and lack of morals took part in. So long as the warrior did not utter a single sound while removing his own right eye, he would come out in the end as a truly powerful warrior; an Eye of Gruumsh.

He fought in many battles and took many lives, until one day when he was called upon for a special task. The hobgoblins to the east were sending a powerful force to attack the elves of Silverwind, and they were to be sending a small group to assist in this. It would give them a chance to partake in a glorious battle, and to learn the tactics and strength of their one possible threat. The chance to spill elven blood would be a blessing from Gruumsh himself and Krusk took this order with feverish angst.

Krusk arrived at the hobgoblin’s den the day before they were to leave and he was told that he, of all the orcs that made the travel, would be grouped with several humans, lead by one of Bloodclaw’s own soldiers and a dark elf. Krusk was not pleased at having to travel with an elf, even one from the Underdark, however he would suffer through it for the chance to slay hundreds of thousands more of those frail and meek creatures.
