This straight-edged dagger has a serrated blade with two indented channels running on either side. The handle is slightly longer than a normal dagger and a silver dragon's claw holds a red stone at the heel. A small button sits just below the guard.
The poison dagger is a masterwork dagger who's handle can store a single vial of poison - be removing the dragon's claw stopper, the vial slides cleanly into a hidden compartment within the handle. By pressing the button underneath the thumb, the vial is broken and the poison seeps through the guard and down the channels carved in the blade. The poison may be released as a free action, though is only effective on a successful attack and is only good for one strike. However, due to the direct application of the poison, the dagger provides a +1 bonus to the DC of a Fortitude save against poison.
