Endara Syndalis, the Beauty of Illdarin

Born into an extended family of wandering gypsies, Endara Syndalis traveled the lands of Illdarin, though the kingdoms of Killdaerin and Cresthaven, across the Plainslands, and occasionally over the Great Divide and into the Golden Sands Desert. Their caravan went from town to town and city to city, performing their arts and trading their goods. It was a simple life, though a very entertaining and an ever-changing one.

Endara took to dance as if it were in her blood. Her movements seemed mystic and once she was of age her training in the Enchanting Dances was begun. She moved with a beauty that no person, man nor woman nor ogre nor dwarf, could resist. She loved being the center of attention and people thought her the center of their world, at least for the short while that she cast her charm upon them. Her talents were so great that she eventually crafted a reputation as perhaps the most beautiful and beguiling gypsy to ever grace Illdarin, though her followers would disagree. To them, there was nothing in the world more beautiful than when she danced.

One late summer voyage from Anglemore to Redpoint, the Syndalis family was forced to travel through the Dark Oaks rather than their usual trek into the Divide and through the safe passages of the Hammerfoots, due to the inclimate whether that had struck the area as of late. During this dangerous travel, the caravan was ambushed by gnolls and all but one was killed. Endara was taken deep into the Murks where she was taken hostage by the hobgoblins, though she convinced them to spare her life. When she heard that humans had joined the ranks of Bloodclaw’s army, she again used and guile to persuade them to let her join in the campaign. She is now under the watch of a dark elf, not something she is looking forward to however better circumstances than the alternative.
