Rudstow, Where the Less Reputable Roam

This town originally started as a simple trading post at the mouth of the Great River. Perfectly situated between the bridges that allow travelers to cross the deltas, and the only safe crossing point of the river other than at the northern pass in the Dark Oak Woods.

Eventually the post grew into a resting point for ships who did not have a favorable alliance with Keldaerin, the only other safe harbor on the western coast at that time. Because it gave access to trade via land, sea, and river the post quickly grew into a town with a very small permanent population, though you will find inns and taverns aplenty. The only real residence in Rudstow are the craftsman and traders that buy and sell their goods with the visitors and passer-bys.

Because of the fact that there is no formal law enforcement, travelers and traders who either have a grudge with the Ridarris, or need a place to bring merchandise that would not usually be sold in the open, find this bustly harbor a welcoming rest stop.
