Session 3: Into the Mines Empty

From the report documents of Captain Letoshek:

28th day of the Fading

Officer Ginbin met with the newest militia recruits this morning to show them the ropes. He was ordered to explain the job board to them and the process by they assign themselves work. From my understanding, they took a job right away, reporting to the mines and speaking wtih miss Ardir; the head supervisor of the mining operations. She apparently have been having an issue with miners disappearing inside one of the tunnels and was requesting help.

The team was inside of the shafts for well over three hours before they finally came out (all be it bruised and slightly worse for the wear) with the head of a large black creature as proof of their work. They reported back to me, apparently with the intention of gloating about their success. The druid also had a surprise that he collected; in his pack he was holding a litter of the beast's offpsring. His idea was to use them has supposed guard dogs or pets for my guardsmen. Though this was not an idea that I was ecstatic about in the beginning, after some conversation it seemed that they could eventually pose some use (especially after the troubles that the town has been going through). I requested that Ginbin give him a space in the stables, seeing that he did not have his own shelter and I felt that it was unfair for miss Durbin to add 5 more animals to her collection.

It also appears that miss Gidanant has some competition in Amberstone now; they have an alchemist in their mix that has already struck up a deal with officer Addus to take over the supplies that miss Gidanant has been unable to fulfill. Combine that with the trouble that they got into with Team Six the other day; it appears that this team will be a mixture of pleasantries and difficulties alike.
