The group, after dispatching their visitors, quickly spread to their corners to gloat or pout (a rather diverse group I have to put up with this time). They began to search for any wealth that these creatures had on them, though the only thing of value seemed to be some food and the gem that appears to hold their old friend. They argued and bickered, and Talis apparently felt somewhat challenged by her reunion. After some harsh words she decided to gloom in the corner, which finally left me and the slayer to talk business. However, our chatter was cut short by actions of the damned summoner. Once he moved to the shifter and they began to speak, you could simply tell that no good would come of their words.
Talis began to approach them, however was cut short when the necromancer's ogres intercepted her. She made several attempts to get past them and away from their large clubs landing damaging blows on them, and finally managed to get through. Meanwhile, the cloaked one made it as difficult as possible for Talis' apparent allies, Holinn and Kortahl, binding them in with rubbery tentacles and giving them several images of himself to strike at.
Talis and the powerless bard, seemed to be keeping themselves alive as much as possible while the others searched for their controller. After several moments, the necromancer's body appeared prone, clutching the top of his staff. Kortahl managed to free himself and run to the body, stabbing it swiftly. The undead ogres collapsed to the ground, and just for good measure, the shifter went over to the previously hobgoblin, and currently unconscious grey rendered creature, crushing it's skull.
They travelled for a bit longer and decided to rest. I have tried to warn them that there are creatures ahead, though they have seemed not to take my warnings seriously. Perhaps they will learn these leasons on their own.
